Karen Beattie undertook her Fine Art training in Alberta, Canada and currently works out of Ullapool. Her works address the themes of the excesses of conspicuous consumption, information and misinformation. Her work in the gallery includes large acrylics on canvas as well as a series of smaller works on paper in coloured pencil.
