David Taylor

David works from his studio in Dulwich and has exhibited not only in the UK but also internationally, as far afield as Singapore and Canada, and his paintings hang in private collections worldwide. Although formally trained as an architect, David now works entirely in oil on canvas, using both palette knife and brush. His work isinspired by nature and in particular its dramatic weather conditions. Breaking storm clouds and filtering sunlight feature heavily in his paintings, which explore the effects that these produce on the landscapes below. His paintings depict dreamlike atmospheres and mood rather than recognisable imagery or landmarks.
